My Other Me exists to explore life, identity, reality, and meaning through useful models that are never mistaken for final truth.
My Other Me is a growing collection of books, a music project, a YouTube channel, and whatever else it needs to become. They're all part of the same project, and they all say the same thing through different mediums. Take whichever ones speak to you and leave out whatever doesn't. It is not here to preach, convert, control, or perform certainty. It is here to offer perspectives, stories, music, symbols, and thought experiments that may help people see their lives more clearly, more lightly, and more honestly.
Everything here is a collaboration between human experience and digital intelligence. The ideas, the books, the lyrics, the music, the words, and the vision are human, coming from Xian's experience and observations of life. The imagery, the vocalists, and the general organizing of these often chaotic writings are done through various digital intelligence models. We're not hiding that and think it's worth saying openly because it's part of what we're about. Using what's available and playing the game intelligently.
My Other Me leads with wonder, but it does not worship mystery for its own sake. It is interested in the strange, the profound, the mind-bending, and the beautiful, but never at the expense of honesty. It does not sell certainty about hidden mechanisms. It invites curiosity, not compliance.
This project does not believe in absolutes masquerading as wisdom. It treats every framework, whether it be spiritual, scientific, psychological, mystical, artistic, etc., as a model: something that may help you navigate but should never be confused with reality itself. The map is not the territory.
Humor is not separate from the philosophy. The cosmic joke is not that life is meaningless, but that it may be much lighter, stranger, and more fun than we were taught to believe. We don't have to laugh all the time, but the freedom we have to find comedy in even the darkest moments in life means we don't have to take everything so damn seriously!
This is a wholeness project, not a purity project. It is not about becoming spiritually respectable, endlessly positive, or free from contradiction. It is about integrating more of what is already here: the light and the dark, the certainty and the uncertainty, the longing and the absurdity. Wholeness matters more than image.
My Other Me rejects extraction as a way of transmitting truth. There are no funnels dressed as service. There is no fake urgency, no scarcity tactics. Value is given freely where possible and fairly priced when not. Anything offered at a cost is meant to serve the work and run alongside it, but all core information will be shared free. If a truth requires manipulation to spread, something has already gone wrong in the delivery.
The tone of this project is calm, reflective, lightly irreverent, and sincere. It does not speak from above. It does not claim superiority over the audience. It does not assume the role of guru, rescuer, or enlightened authority. The aim is not to stand on a mountain and announce the answer. The aim is to stand inside the human mess and say, "Here is a way of looking at this that might help."
The deeper destination of My Other Me is philosophy, not performance. The game metaphors, the reality models, the songs, the symbols, etc. All of these are doors. Beyond them lies a broader conversation about perspective, contradiction, narrative, subjectivity, mortality, meaning, and the strange possibility that the answer is not elsewhere. It may already be here, wearing a disguise so ordinary it keeps getting missed.
Nothing here demands belief. Take what resonates. Test what helps. Leave what doesn’t. Keep your freedom. Keep your humor. Keep questioning everything, including this. And whatever happens, remember it's all a game!
